The idea behind the flashcards was for my daughter to
learn words, and the letters they start with. If she pushes the
letter, the computer "speaks" the word to her. If she doesn't know
it - one click on "Show
Word" and the word is shown and spoken. The engine behind it is
just a Microsoft Access file with a column for the animal's
name and its corresponding image filename. You can easily add more animals by just editing
the MDB file.
